Whether you're five or 85, there's an opportunity for you to explore and share your musical gifts at West Side. No prior experience is required, and rehearsals are flexible. (There's a Zoom option for adults!) Please contact Music Minster Dr. Steven Seigart to inquire about any of our ensembles or to get involved.

Adult Choirs

The Chancel Choir, for singers age 18 and up, rehearses on Thursdays from 7:30 - 9:00 pm and sings during 10:30 am worship and for special services throughout the year. Listen to the Chancel Choir here!

Oratorio Choir meets on Thursdays from 8:00 - 9:30 pm as we approach our seasonal Oratorio presentations. An augmented version of the Chancel Choir, this is a perfect way to try choir without a long-term commitment. In December of 2025, we presented Handel's Messiah. The next concert will be Bach's St. John Passion on March 22, 2026 (beginning rehearsals on Thursday, Feb 5). Listen to the Oratorio Choir here!

Young Adult Choir (High School and College-aged singers) rehearses in conjunction with Sunday night Barn, and sings for Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Christmas Eve. Listen to the Young Adult Choir here!

The Westminster Bell Choir, for ages 18 and up, rehearses on Tuesdays from 7:15 to 8:30 pm and plays on Easter Sunday, Christmas Eve, and other special occasions throughout the year. Listen to the Bell Choir here!

Children's Choirs

Cantate Choir (Grades K-1), Carol Choir (Grades 2-3), and Children's Choir (Grades 4-8) meet on Thursdays from 4:00 - 6:00 pm as part of Kids Club and Music and sing for Intergenerational Sundays (once a month) at 10:30 am, as well as on Easter Sunday and Christmas Eve. Parents and children alike are invited for pizza at 5:45 pm! Register here!

During rehearsals, children learn how to read music and play handbells, chimes, and Orff instruments. They also learn teamwork and problem-solving skills, boost their vocabulary and language skills, gain confidence, expand their social circle, grow in their faith, and have fun!
